We just got done building a new engine for Nate's mini. We ran the little carb last year and it ran great. Will these 8hp engines benefit from the big carb or is it too much for these little motors?

Well its a stock bore 19 briggs, well ported and lightened valves, precision 212 cam, arc flywheel. We are running a 48 walbro carb on it now, we were wondering if a 56 walbro would help.

Not with that cam, need more cam to take advantage of the bigger carb not to mention bigger valves and larger porting.

Thats what I was thinking. We might as well stick to the small carb. Thanks for the input.
